Letter From The President

Dear Resident, Business and Community Member,

As President of the Fountain Valley Firefighters Association (FVFA), and on behalf of our entire membership, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.  Our mission is to provide the highest quality emergency response, fire prevention, education, and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of our community.

The FVFA is striving to create an atmosphere of transparency, effective communication, and community involvement which we will use to further enhance the strong relationship we have with the community that we serve.  One tool that we feel will help us reach this goal is our new interactive website.  In the coming months, we will be adding other advancements and improvements to assist us in achieving this goal.  By engaging in community outreach programs and supporting all of those who align with our philosophies, we feel that we can make a positive difference in the lives of people who need it most.

The FVFA consists of 37 sworn firefighters who stand ready to answer your call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  They risk their lives daily to provide the highest level of service within the City.  Our member's staff two fire stations which house two paramedic engine companies and one paramedic truck company.  Responding to 6,532 calls in 2015, these are some of the busiest companies in Orange County.  Since 2009, our emergency call volume has increased 33 percent!

You can be assured that each and every day, we are working diligently to build a safe and prosperous environment for everyone; especially our children. We are proud of the various community, regional, state, and national charities who benefit from our support and involvement. The Fountain Valley Community Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs, Special Olympics, and Firefighters Burn Quest for Burn Survivors just to name a few.  All fall within our vision of a better world with which to live.
